Effective: 10 June 2026

This Privacy Policy applies to all users of the Services, regardless of the device or platform through which the Services are accessed.

By accessing or using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. 1.1 Information You Provide to Us

We collect information that you provide directly when you register for an account, complete your profile, or otherwise interact with the Services. This information may include:

1.2 Information We Collect Automatically

When you access or use the Services, we may automatically collect certain information about your interaction with the Services and the device you use to access them. This information may include:

1.3 Information from Third Parties

We may receive information about you from third-party sources, including:

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information about you in the limited circumstances described below.

3.1 With Other Users of the Services

Information that you elect to make publicly available through the Services, including your profile information, posts, comments, events, and other contributions, will be visible to other users of the Services. Direct messages and other private communications are visible only to the users you send them to. You should consider carefully what information you choose to share publicly.

3.2 With Service Providers

We engage third-party service providers to perform functions on our behalf in connection with the Services. These functions include, without limitation, hosting and infrastructure, authentication, database management, file and image storage, push notification delivery, analytics, crash and diagnostic reporting, translation, and customer support. We provide these service providers with only the information they need to perform their functions, and we require them to handle that information in accordance with appropriate confidentiality and security obligations.

3.3 For Legal, Regulatory, and Safety Reasons

We may access, preserve, or disclose information about you where we believe in good faith that doing so is necessary or appropriate to comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request; to enforce our Terms of Service and other agreements; to detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security, or technical issues; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Lngual, our users, or the public.

3.4 In Connection with a Corporate Transaction

If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, restructuring, financing, sale of assets, or similar corporate transaction, or in the unlikely event of bankruptcy or insolvency, your information may be transferred or disclosed in connection with that transaction, subject to customary confidentiality protections.

3.5 With Your Consent or at Your Direction

We may share your information for any other purpose disclosed to you and with your consent, or at your direction.

3.6 With Advertising Partners

We share limited information, including advertising identifiers, device information, and general usage information, with third-party advertising partners for the purpose of delivering and measuring advertisements within the Services. Further information regarding advertising and the choices available to you is provided in Section 11 (Advertising).

3.7 Aggregated and De-Identified Information

We may share aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified information that does not identify you with third parties for analytical, research, marketing, or other lawful purposes.

4. Cookies and Similar Technologies

The Services are provided primarily through a mobile application and do not rely on traditional browser cookies. We and our service providers may use similar technologies, such as device identifiers, software development kits (SDKs), and local storage, to operate the Services, authenticate users, and analyze how the Services are used. You may be able to control certain of these technologies through your device settings.

5. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Services and to fulfil the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by applicable law. Criteria we consider when determining retention periods include the nature and sensitivity of the information, the purposes for which it is processed, the potential risk of harm from unauthorized use or disclosure, and applicable legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.

When you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we are required or permitted to retain certain information for legitimate purposes, including legal compliance, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, and the safety and security of our users and the Services.

6. Your Rights and Choices

You may, at any time and through the Services:

Depending on your country of residence, you may have additional rights under applicable data protection laws, including the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information; to object to or restrict certain processing activities; to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent; and to request data portability. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data protection authority. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the details in Section 14 (Contact Us). We may need to verify your identity before responding and may decline requests to the extent permitted by law.

7. Third-Party Links and Services

The Services may contain links to, or otherwise enable interaction with, websites, applications, or services operated by third parties. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of such third parties, and this Privacy Policy does not apply to information collected by them. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party service before providing information to that service.

8. International Data Transfers

The Services are operated using infrastructure located in various jurisdictions, and your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in countries other than the country in which you reside, including the United States and member states of the European Economic Area. The data protection laws of these countries may differ from those of your country of residence. Where required by applicable law, we rely on lawful transfer mechanisms, including standard contractual clauses, to provide appropriate safeguards for international transfers of personal information.

9. Children's Privacy

The Services are not intended for, and are not directed at, children under the age of 13, or under the minimum age required to consent to the processing of personal information in their country of residence. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals below the applicable minimum age. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child below the applicable age without verified parental consent, we will take reasonable steps to delete that information from our records.

A parent or legal guardian who believes that a child below the applicable minimum age has provided personal information through the Services may contact us at support@lngual.com to request review and deletion of that information.

10. Security

We take the security of your information seriously and implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, loss, or destruction. These measures include encryption of data in transit, access controls, and ongoing review of our practices and infrastructure.

While we work continually to safeguard your information, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. We therefore cannot guarantee absolute security, and we encourage you to use a strong, unique password and to notify us promptly of any suspected unauthorized activity on your account.

11. Advertising

The Services include advertising, including advertising provided by third-party advertising networks and partners. We use Google AdMob to serve ads. See Google's Privacy Policy for how they process data. These partners receive limited information, including advertising identifiers, device information, and general usage information, in order to deliver advertisements and to measure their performance. The advertising you see is based on general information such as the country in which you use the Services, rather than on a detailed individual profile.

If you reside in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction where consent is required, the Services will request your consent to the use of advertising identifiers and related processing the first time you open the application, in accordance with applicable data protection law. You may withdraw or change your consent at any time from in-app Settings.

You may also control the use of advertising identifiers and the personalization of advertising through your device settings:

Disabling personalized advertising does not remove advertising from the Services, but it limits the use of your information to personalize that advertising. Subscribing to Lngual Plus removes advertising from the Services entirely.

12. Regional Privacy Rights

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, California, or another jurisdiction that affords specific data protection rights, you may have additional rights under applicable law, including under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the United Kingdom General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended. These rights are described in Section 6 (Your Rights and Choices). We do not sell personal information or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising as those terms are defined under the CCPA. To exercise any applicable rights, please refer to Section 14 (Contact Us).

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, the Services, or applicable law. When we make changes, we will update the "Effective" date at the top of this page. If we make material changes, we will provide reasonable notice through the Services or by other appropriate means prior to the changes taking effect. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically to stay informed about our practices.

14. Contact Us

If you have any questions, comments, or concerns regarding this Privacy Policy or our information practices, or if you wish to exercise any of your rights described above, please contact us at support@lngual.com.
